Apply for ECO4 funding: how the ECO4 scheme is helping families like yours to cope with the ongoing energy crisis
The ECO4 Scheme came into play as of April 2022. It takes over from previous government schemes in supporting low-income households just like yours to keep heating bills as low as possible.
Remember: energy efficient homes are cheaper to run and lead to a happier quality of life. Comfort. Warmth. Peace of mind. And more cash left over in your wallet to spend on the things you actually enjoy doing.
THREE SIMPLE STEPS:
We’ll let you know whether you’re eligible for a grant
Our engineers will be in touch to book a survey and installation date
No more days and nights spent battling the cold. Keep your home nice and cosy and reduce energy usage and bills.
Applying is quick and simple. You’re not forced to commit. AND YOU WON’T NEED TO PAY A PENNY towards the work your home receives
The best thing about the scheme is that all you need to do is register your interest. Our dedicated team here at UKEM will take care of everything else for you: from checking your eligibility to enrolling you in the scheme, to ensuring all your energy-efficient home improvements are carried out by qualified tradespeople and installers.
How is the government-backed ECO4 scheme achieving this, and do I qualify?
The scheme is helping low-income households and vulnerable individuals living in fuel-poor homes (bands E, F and G) to become more energy efficient. This can be done in a number of ways, for instance: installing or upgrading your cavity wall insulation, upgrading your central heating, and installing attic / loft insulation (all FREE of charge).
The benefit for you is the money you’ll save: month in, month out. For instance, did you know that 35% of the energy you generate is lost through your cavity walls? With that in mind, think how much of a difference that 35% could make at a time when energy bills are critically high.
So, where does UKEM feature in all of this?
We’re the ones who can get you started on your ECO4 grant journey AND see it through to completion right by your side. We will manage your journey from start to finish, working to provide the best options of funding available to create a more comfortable, energy-efficient home for you and your family.
Okay, so what’s the catch?
No catch. You just have to meet the government’s criteria as regards the type of benefits you receive. Are you a homeowner or private tenant? Are you in receipt of the qualifying benefits outlined below? There’s a good chance you’ll meet the criteria.
