Get Your Charger QuoteYour charger saves you money while you sleep
A basic charger starts the moment you plug in, usually at peak rates. A smart charger shifts your charging to off-peak hours, automatically or via the app, so you pay a fraction of the cost.
Automatic tariff integration
Ohme connects directly to Octopus, OVO, and other smart tariffs. It finds the cheapest window and charges there. No timers, no thinking.
Scheduled charging via the app
Set your charge window in the Tesla app to match your off-peak hours. Same savings, you just set it once yourself.
Full app control on all three
Set charge limits, track energy costs, and monitor sessions from your phone. All chargers have dedicated apps with over-the-air updates.
What does it cost to charge at home?
Charging overnight on a smart tariff costs a fraction of public charging or petrol. Drag the slider to see how much you'd save.
What you'd pay to drive 10,000 miles a year*
Switch from public charging to a smart home charger and you could save over £500 a year. That means a typical installation pays for itself in under two years.*

Free miles from your roof
Got solar panels? Your charger can use surplus generation to charge your car before pulling from the grid. No solar yet? We install that too.
Surplus builds up
Your panels produce more than your home uses during the day. That excess normally goes back to the grid for a few pence.
Kept, not exported
With a battery, that excess sits waiting instead of being sold back at 4p/kWh.
Car gets first dibs
EV charger pulls from your solar or battery first. Grid power is the last resort, not the default.
Miles you didn't pay for
Every kWh from your roof is one you didn't buy at 24p. Over a year, that's hundreds of miles on the house.

How much does an EV charger cost to install?
Which charger is right for me?
How long does installation take?

Do you offer finance?
Can I finance an EV charger install if I'm waiting for the OZEV grant?
Yes. If you qualify for the OZEV Chargepoint Grant, the £500 comes straight off your invoice at the point of install, and finance is arranged on the remaining balance. Worth knowing: most homeowners of houses don't qualify for OZEV, which is limited to renters, landlords and flat owners. Our grants guide covers eligibility, and our finance page has the full terms.
Will applying for charger finance affect my credit score?
The initial quote uses a soft credit search, which doesn't leave a footprint on your credit file and won't affect your score. Only once you accept the offer and proceed does the lender run a hard search to finalise the agreement. That means you can check what you'd be approved for without any risk to your credit. See our finance page for full details.
